Visitors to Skagway can get a taste of what it was like to live in the famous gold rush days of Alaska . There is a variety of gold rush themed entertainment in Skagway , theater shows, and plenty of characters dressed in gold rush costumes available for photographing.
Commemorating the Gold Rush of 1897-98, this 5,000 hectare park encompasses a six-block historical district in the town of Skagway , the famous Chilkoot and White Pass Trails, and the nearby ghost town of Dyea.
